Products I Regret Buying Part 4

Hey Warriors. I hope you all had a safe and wonderful few days of school and work, I know we all miss the holidays. I hope you all liked the last post I did for Black Madonna Cosmetics and you might have found something you might be interested in (: Anyways, I am here with another "Products I Regret Buying" Part 4. I only have a few more products to share so don't worry. (" Remember this is 100% my honest opinion. I am not being paid nor sponsored.

Maybelline Fit Me Stick. 115 Ivory.
So I want to start off by saying I have loved Maybelline for years. They are such a good brand and have amazing products but for some odd reason this product was a miss in my book. This product is a foundation stick with an anti-shine powder core in the middle and the actual foundation is a gel like material. The middle part is to help hide shine and to help the foundation become more matte. The powder core is suppose to take away all extra oils left on the skin, and it is suppose to give a fresh, natural and matte finishing look to it. The product comes in 12 different shades. You can find it anywhere Maybelline is sold.

My honest feelings about this product are for starters I don't recommend this foundation for dry skin. I do have some oily spots around my nose and chin but it still made my skin look flaky which I disliked a lot. Also this product was very hard to blend I felt the powder in the middle would just make the product stick to my face and when i got my fingers to blend it, it kept a patch on that spot and it wouldn't blend. I also tried using a brush for it as well but it turned out the same way. I felt this foundation is more for oily toned skin, and it would probably look more flattering on someone who's trying to make their face more dry and matte looking than someone with dry skin.

I also felt this product came with a little amount. It took me only 2 months to go through the stick and with a bottle foundation it takes me 6 months to a year to finish. I honestly don't know what else to say other than I am disappointed with the product overall and I feel like I should of picked another foundation instead. Write and leave a comment telling me your personal feeling on this? We all have different opinions so leave yours down below!!

My overall review of the Maybelline Foundation Stick"
Rate: 3/10

Where to buy? Walmart, Target, Online, Anywhere Maybelline is sold.

Price? $6.00-$8.99

Worth it? No! I feel like with the amount this product is you can save this x2 or x3 times and get something that works much better and the product lasts longer. Also, if you have dry skin this product is something you should stay away from!!

Black Madonna Cosmetics Full Review And Swatches!

Hello my beautiful Warriors. Today I decided to write an exciting blog post that I have been waiting to put up for so long. I was reached out by Black Madonna Cosmetics to review and swatch some of their products which I felt really honored and excited to do this not just for them but for you all as well. This company is small and working it's way up there. The products are amazing and have really good pigmentation. I feel this company will keep getting bigger and keep going strong. The company is so sweet, always sharing my photos on their social media sites and always answering my questions or concerns super fast without any hassle. I am not just saying all these good things either just because I was sent stuff. I am saying this because you all will not regret it if you try them out. I will leave all their links and their website down below as well as prices etc. Remember I do have a disclaimer and it is in the BIO of my blog but I will say it here "I am NOT being paid nor sponsored to talk about this company, I am doing this on behalf of them as well as you all so please leave your hater comments somewhere else"!!

First I want to start off with the 3 tube lip glosses she sent me. I was really surprised by how good of quality the packaging was and how tightly sealed the lid was. These have a faint smell of cupcakes and have some stickiness to them but not much. I feel they look good either alone or on top of a lipstick. They are super creamy, and don't really fade easily. I felt I needed to reapply every 2-3 hours which is surprising for a lip gloss. Now, I can say the only thing I really noticed was the lip gloss would start going into the lines of my lips which doesn't bother most but I don't really like how it looks so I normally wear these with a lipstick. Overall I still love them and I am pleased with the pigmentation and the overall look and feel of these.

Black Madonna Lip Gloss in 177 Cheater

This lip gloss is a pretty nude shade with gold shimmer. The shimmer is not a problem to me I actually think it really stands out on top of a golden lipstick or a champagne lipstick. Gorgeous color for all the nude fans out there. (: A must have!!

The applicator is the usual which I love these kind because they have a lot of product and these types also help spread the product evenly over your lips.

Here is a lip swatch of the lip gloss. As you can see the lip gloss is melting into my lip lines which I dislike but once I put a lipstick underneath I am ready to go out in this gorgeous, skin tone color (:

Black Madonna Lip Gloss in 180 Hot Flash

This lip gloss is very pigmented and very great alone. I feel this one is probably the best without anything underneath because of how pigmented and bright it is but also how it doesn't show the lip lines that much. This one is like a bright ball of orange goodness. I love how gorgeous this looks on and how well it looks with a nude eye with a dramatic wing eye look.

                                      Same Applicator.

As you can by the lip swatch just how vibrant the color is and how bright this beautiful lip gloss is. The shine is perfect and I didn't see any shimmer which is a plus for people who dislike shimmer. Same stickiness as the rest and also same cupcake smell. Love it (:

Black Madonna Lip Gloss in 151 Huetopia

Black Madonna lip gloss in Huetopia is also another nude type lip gloss. This one is a unique pinkish nude lip gloss. On top of a pink lipstick it really shines the pink on top, but onto of a nude lipstick the nude part of the gloss basically shows and the pink just melts into the other colors and combines as a nude which is unique but this is my favorite out of all three tube lip glosses.

                                       Same Applicator!

Here is a lip swatch of Huetopia. As you can see the pink really stands out because my natural lips are pink but once a nude type lipstick is under the pink seems to just blend itself right in. I think this doesn't show as much of my lip lines like the nude lip gloss but still some. I feel a lot more comfortable though wearing this out in public.

My overall review of the tube lip glosses:
Rate 9/10

Where to buy? http://www.black-madonna.com/product/black-madonna-lipgloss/

Price? $16.00

Worth it? Yes, I highly recommend these lip glosses. I feel if you are comfortable with a little bit of stickiness and you don't mind the smell of something sweet you'll love these, I think they are way worth the price. They come in variety of colors so there's enough to choose from.

Next, I am gonna keep with the lip gloss trend and move down the aisle, lol. This is a jar lip gloss so you do need a brush to apply or you can use your finger but I feel the brush applies it more evenly and it also helps the pigmentation of the color build up without having clumps. I also feel the finger wouldn't be very sanitized as well. This lip gloss is a bit more sticky than the actual tube lip glosses and this color is a bit on the metallic side. I only got one of these but I like how this color is a muti pink meaning it has a gold chrome to it which is gorgeous. I like how cute the jar is. I was surprised with how much product was in there as well (:

Black Madonna Lip Gloss Jar/Pot in                                                               #121 Candy

This jar is so small but yet holds so much product. The color is pigmented, a bit more sticky than the tube lip glosses, doesn't really have the sweet smell and it still shows the lines of my lips which is a bummer since I would perfably for me I would wear it alone. This doesn't have any shimmer but it is a metallic like shine. The lip gloss is a pink with a gold chrome which is beautiful, absolutely stunning. I recommend this for anyone who would love to just have a gorgeous lip color in your collection even if you wouldn't wear it all the time. (:

You can basically see the pink and the gold chrome shining right through the jar.

As you can see which bummed me out a little is the line of my lips. I feel this would look so much better just alone but I do apply the nude lip gloss under it to help hide some of the lines. But, the color just steals my heart. <3

My overall review of the Jar/Pot lip gloss:
Rate 7/10

Where to buy? http://www.black-madonna.com/

Price? $10.00

Worth it? Yes and no? Yes well because you can totally pull this off if you wear something underneath to hide the lines or if you don't mind your lip lines than girl you can totally pull this off. No because for my ideal of a lip gloss I love ones that hide my lip lines and don't show them as much plus with it being so pigmented I would've hoped it to be like Hot Flash so I could of wore it alone, and the stickiness is a little bit to handle so I would prefer sticking to the tube lip glosses. (:

It doesn't stop here with the lip products. They also sent me a lipstick which I was so excited to try. Lipstick is something I can't leave the house without. I was like 'oh no here comes trouble' when I saw the lipstick lol because I knew I would have to take the lipstick I was wearing off just to put this one. Haha. This lipstick is a super pigmented, in between a red, berry and pink shade. The color is matte and feels dry but not as dry as Mac's 'Ruby Woo'. I used a chap stick underneath to loosen the feel but I love how the dryness makes it matte and also it lasts very long without chap stick underneath just make sure you don't press to hard to make the lipstick break off.

Black Madonna Lipstick in #140 Hot Tamale

Let's all be real here, who laughed at how cute the name was? haha I sure did when I first read it. The packaging reminds me of ELF'S studio lipsticks which I like because it feels very secure and I know it would last traveling. The color is super vibrant and I love how their name is in white, it just makes it pop.

As you can see from the color it looks like a mix of red, berry and a pink shade.

You can really tell from my lip swatches that it does have a mix of red, pink and berry which I like. Also as you can tell it is matte and looks sort of dry but if you don't mind Mac's Ruby Woo than you'll totally love the feeling of this because like I said it isn't as uncomfortable as Ruby Woo, plus if you apply a chap stick underneath of it to help it moist it won't last as long as if you used it alone. I feel the lasting power alone is 5-6 hours before having to reapply VS. with a chap stick or lip balm it's like 2-3 hours.

My overall review of the Lipstick-Extreme:
Rate 10/10

Where to buy?http://www.black-madonna.com/product/lipstick-extreme/

Price? $18.00

Worth it? Yes!! I feel this lipstick should be a hit. They have more colors to choose from, a matte lipstick that's not that uncomfortable, price is a bit pricey than a MAC lipstick but the formula on these are insanely pigmented and easy to apply. The feeling is a bit to get use to but if you own Ruby Woo by MAC you'd love this a little more. Score!!

For eyeshadows, Black Madonna sent me two single/pressed, gorgeous shades. First off these eyeshadows are pigmented with a primer or a base. As always, eyeshadows need to have a base or primer to make them last all day without creasing. I did see some creasing when I didn't have a base or primer, but the color is still pigmented but more sheer as well if you don't use one. They also have fallout but I mean what eyeshadow doesn't have fallout?

Black Madonna Single/Pressed Eyeshadow in #615 Excetera

This name is a hard one for me to pronounce haha but the color is my favorite. Of course they knew I loved purple haha jk it was awesome to get this because it is gorgeous and I love purple eyeshadows. This color is matte with no shimmer, easy to blend, looks good in the crease or on the lid. I prefer using NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk to help enhance the color.

Just look how stunning this matte purple shade is. ("

I did two different swatches. The one on the left has no primer or base underneath it. The one on the right has a primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk that is the base to enhance the color and pigmentation of the shadow. Don't get me wrong, alone it has a good pigmentation as well but it's just sheer and it isn't as vibrant alone.

Black Madonna Single/Pressed Eyeshadow in #477 Butter Cup

This pressed shadow is a stunning golden yellow that's matte and doesn't have any shimmer. This looks stunning on the lower lash line or on the lid. It is very vibrant with a white sort of base meaning a cream white or yellow based eyeshadow. The color blends very well and of course has fallout.

Such a stunning matte golden yellow pressed eyeshadow with no flaws lol.

Again, just like I did with the purple eyeshadow I did two individual swatches, one without anything underneath and the second again has a primer as well as NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk but you can use any white cream based or yellow based eyeshadow.

My overall review of the Single/Pressed Eyeshadows:
Rate: 10/10

Where to buy? http://www.black-madonna.com/product/eyeshadow/

Price? $15.00

Worth it? Yes!! Matte shadows for the win, pigmented, easy to blend, variety of colors, can be used as an eyeliner when wet. Great product overall.

Lastly for eyeshadow they sent me a pigment. I am not very good at using pigments at all, I basically spill it sometimes and bam there goes all my product haha but luckily that hasn't happened yet "knock on wood"!! The pigment is a stunning blue which I love blue eyeshadow, I get compliments out in public everytime I use this shade because it enhances my eye color and because with it against my pale skin it just looks so flattering. I highly recommend this shade. It blends amazingly, has great pigmentation with or without a primer or base but I still recommend both for a vibrant and more long lasting look (: Has fall out but every shadow does!

Black Madonna Pigment/Mineral Eyeshadow in #204 Surfin

This is said to be a mineral eyeshadow but I also consider it a pigment as well. A pigment is basically a single eyeshadow that isn't pressed and it falls like dust. I feel this shade would look amazing on while you are at the beach along side the ocean, which fun fact of the day I have never been to an ocean. Darn, this shadow makes me want to go surfin to haha. Get it? Surfin.. haha oh gosh I need sleep.

Look how gorgeous it looks. Also this is in between a matte and shimmer shade. I absolutely love it.

As usual I swatched it with and without a primer and base. I also used the same NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk just to help make it more vibrant and also enhance the color. I truly think this is by far my favorite shadow of 2014.

My overall review of the Mineral/Pigment Eyeshadow:
Rate: 10/10

Where to buy?http://www.black-madonna.com/product/hi-def-pigments-crushed-minerals/

Price? $18

Worth it? Yes!! You can use this for so many different things including use with a clear lipgloss to make any shade of lipgloss, use with hair gel and apply to hair, apply directly on the center of lips for a pop of color and so much more!!

The final product and yes I did say 'final" I know I know.. I am sad as well that it is over but like everyone says "I saved the best for last" Black Madonna sent me two of their "Star Crystals" They are a form of chunky glitter that you can use as a eyeshadow, or mix with a lip gloss or lipstick for a sparkly shine. These glitters are best when used with a glitter primer or a white base. I feel these are an amazing set of glitters for people who know exactly how to apply and how much to add. I did an eye look with the purple and loved it on my eyes. I also used the gold for a lip look and it blew my mind how amazing it looked on the lips. (Check out my instagram for pictures using any of these products) The glitters stick best when applied with a glitter base and also a white base and they don't move on the eye at all. For the lips I recommend either a clear or sheer lip gloss for the win.

Black Madonna Star Crystals/Glitter in #13 Lilac

Of course they knew me before they even met me, haha. They sent me this gorgeous purple shade which I couldn't help but to write in purple as well. I feel this looks extremely beautiful on the lid with a brown eyeshadow in the crease or even on the lips for a purple shine. There will be fallout so make sure and be careful, like I stated above a glitter base and white cream eyeshadow base is recommend for the eye area.

*** Just look at those crystals shine ***

Here are individual swatches showing you with and without a glitter primer and base. (:

Black Madonna Star Crystals/Glitter in #13 Lilac

This is a stunning gold color. Reminded me so much of christmas, and just the holidays in general. Again as always these glitters due tend to be messy so if you aren't good with pigments like myself than these wouldn't be a good idea haha as well but hey I am giving them tries and fell in love with the outcome.

*** "Shine bright like a diamond..." I mean Crystals ***

Here are the individual swatches of Gold rush showing you how it looks without and with a glitter base and a white cream eyeshadow base. Stunning gold for any occasion!!

My overall review of the Star Crystals:

Price? $16.00

Worth it? Yes and no. Why yes? Well because glitters are so fun to test out and try. They enhance looks and make you stand out from the crowd. Also you can use this multiple ways and it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. No? Well if you aren't good with pigments than you should stay away haha but it wouldn't hurt to at least test them out right?

Product I Regret Buying Part 3.

Hey Warriors. I am back after the holidays and better than ever. I can't wait to tackle this year and make it the best yet. Anyways I am here with another "Product I Regret Buying" post and I can't believe this is the third one. I hope you all enjoy and remember this is my 100% honest opinion and this may work for you so please leave hate comments to yourself. <3

This Benefit kit looked awesome when I bought it but when I started playing around with all the products it just didn't phase me. So basically this Benefit kit I guess is representing summer because it says "Cabana Glama" and it would look extremely better on tan and darker skin tons VS my pale skin. This kit has ALL medium toned items to work better on medium tones which when I bought it I just skipped reading haha and only saw Benefit I guess. The only thing I really liked out of this entire palette was the eyeshadows. I bought this palette for like $30 but now it goes for $18 dollars which is insane cause I realized I bought something that I barley touched the other items and I could of totally used the money on something else I really needed or wanted. ):

So inside this palette you get a "Medium" Foundation Faker which worked way better on my friend who's a darker color than me and I used it on her as a concealer. It comes with "Hoola Bronzer" which don't get me wrong is a highly pigmented bronzer but I could never pull something this dark off haha. I feel it works best on someone a little more tanner I just stick to my regular bronzer which is Mary Kays bronzer. The next thing it came with was a small bronzer/contouring brush which this one didn't amaze me, I love the other ones like these that I get from bronzers and blushes but for some reason this one had fallout and didn't blend the bronzer that good. To be honest I use "Hoola" as a eyeshadow because it looks gorgeous in the crease to blend harsh edges. Another item that comes in this kit is a small posietint, this is a cheek and lip stain which I normally don't like cheek stains because against my dry skin it looks to harsh and I didn't like it as a lip stain because after awhile it would show through my lip lines which looks way unattractive, so this product was a no for me. Lastly, was the eyeshadow trio which they didn't have names but they are a gorgeous pink, bronze and a light golden shade. I love these together or alone, I also use Hoola with the look and it looks beautiful. Highly pigmented with or without a primer and last pretty long I didn't really see creasing either, which is a plus.

**OVERALL REVIEW/INFORMATION**
Rate 4/10

Where to buy? Benefit.com, Amazon. Ulta no longer has this product which is where I first purchased it.

Price? Originally $36 now it is $18

Worth it? Yes and No. Why? Well yes because if you have tanner skin or you think you can pull off the medium complexion than this is for you. I personally feel if you didn't want to use it as actual face items you could just give your friend that has darker skin tone than you the foundation faker, throw the brush away and just use the hoola bronzer and the eyeshadows together and for the posietint you can either use it as a lip stain or a cheek stain but personally I prefer the balms by benefit instead. No, well I feel $18 and even $36 can get you something you would end up using a lot more than this and probably something a little cuter and girly as well.

I hope you all enjoyed my blog nonetheless. Comment down below if you like me blogging more? I am so happy to be back and typing up whatever my brain wonders too. I hope you all have an amazing rest of your evening. Until next time, Stay Beautiful. Xoxo.
