No Makeup Buy Update (: 2/25/15

Hey Warriors. I wanted to update you all on how I am handling my "No Makeup Buy". This has been the toughest thing I have ever chose to do but I think I am doing good so far. If you don't understand what a no buy is, it is basically where you give up buying things that you don't need and you set a time frame. For me, I am doing 100 days which I am on Day 26. I will be completely honest it is not easy for me at all. There is so many new makeup products that I am dieing to get my hands on. This will be hard for anyone to do but I promise it is worth giving up for awhile. I have hit pan on so many items and I am finishing so much and it makes me feel better about myself because I am not wasting the money and the product. I also find that doing this kind of thing really opens your eyes on how much you actually spend and how much stuff you waste by purchasing an item using it for a few days and then just letting it sit there. I have always told myself I couldn't accomplish this but to be honest I think I am doing great. So far I am down from 4 foundations to only 2. I have hit pan on my brow kit as well as a few single eyeshadows and a few lip products. I will show a few pictures Friday night. I will be posting a couple of blogs on Friday because I know I have been slacking. Today, I mostly wanted to concentrate on my no makeup buy since a lot of you were curious on what exactly you do and how I am handling it. Also, The reason I decided this was because last month I completely forgot about a hospital bill that was due because I bought a few lipsticks and it is not me to go and waste my bill money but I thought I had enough from babysitting to cover my bill but I didn't babysit long and only got $20 which is the exact amount I pay monthly for my bill BUT...... I needed a stamp as well as money to pay for the money order. I got so mad and disappointed in myself that I told myself that I needed to focus on what was important instead of wants. So, after I called and tried explaining I still needed to pay so I had to borrow money from my sister which I hate asking for things. It is so mean to ask someone for something because you weren't thinking like an adult but instead feeding an addiction that could've been put last. Anyways, I still my owe my sister but I will be paying her back. But it comes to show it is better to buy for your needs than your wants. I realized I did a horrible decision and for that I had no other choice. I hope this helps and inspires you to know that putting your important bills and needs before any addiction weither it is makeup, video games, apps etc. You can w.a.i.t!!!! BH Cosmetics Eye & Lip Makeup Remover Review.

Hey Warriors. Today, I am coming to you all with an awesome review. I am really excited to share this product with you all and I feel it's not talked about like it should. I do not have any cons with this product. I would like to introduce one of my favorite items for February. The BH Cosmetics Eye & Lip makeup remover. If you have no tried this then you need to pick it up especially If you have dry skin. 

I want to start off by saying this may be pricey to some but I think it is worth every dollar. This product is a liquid remover. It has a soft yet gently scent and doesn't burn the eyes or affect the face at all. This product has oil in it and I personally feel this would do a better job for someone with dry/normal skin than with someone who has oily skin. This product comes in a plastic bottle and has .80ml/2.7 FL oz. of product. You might be thinking, well... that is very little for the price of $8.00 but in fact this product only needs a small amount and you don't have to rub so hard when taking off the makeup. I used a cotton round and it only took me 2-3 to fully take off my eye makeup and lip makeup which is great for me. I also noticed since I do have very dry skin that it was hydrating my face and making it feel more softer which I don't see that when I am using my Neutrogena wipes, I mean yeah it hydrates but I never felt my skin the way this product makes it feel. I also heard from someone that this takes off even hard face makeup, which is great for halloween or face paintings. 

The product comes in a plastic which is great because you don't have to worry about it braking or air drying out your product like you have to with wipes. Also, this product has an opening when you open the cap which you have to be careful cause it could dump out all the product if you aren't careful with how you are holding it. This product is something I would recommend to anyone and I can be completely honest I might just start purchasing this instead of my normal wipes just because of the positive results that I got. My overall feeling is that this makeup remover is one of the best liquid makeup removers I have ever tried and I plan on purchasing more.

eye liner or mascara: Mascara just because I think just eyeliner wouldn't make your eyes pop.
foundation or concealer: Full coverage foundation because you can use it as a concealer as well.
neutral or color eye shadow: Neutral because that is what I choose everyday.
pressed or loose eye shadows: Pressed is more easier for me.
brushes or sponges: This is a hard one. If you are talking about foundation and concealer I would 
pick a sponge, but if you are talking anything else I prefer brushes.

Coastal Scents Cairo Palette Small Review + Swatches!!

Hey Warriors. I hope you all are having an amazing February so far, I know I am (: Anyways, today I am bringing to you guys an amazing neutral palette that is inexpensive and pigmented even without a primer which these swatches were swatched without a primer which is awesome. This palette is called Cairo by Coastal Scents! I can't wait to share my opinion with you all and hopefully help someone out there who is thinking about getting this palette. (:

Number One, This palette is by far way more inexpensive compared to some of these top named brands with almost the exact same colors. The colors are vibrant and beautiful just like any high end palette. The palette is small and cute and easy to travel with. overall the packaging was made perfectly and the colors were chosen well with this palette.

Number Two, The pigmentation is outstanding. This is without a primer or base but like I always say Primer helps to make shadows last all day without creasing of fading. I also like how true to the color the shadows look from inside the palette.  The shadows blend so easily and blend smoothly.

My overall feeling is that this palette is over looked. I feel more people should own this palette. These colors look fabulous on anymore. And, not to mention it would be a great starter palette for someones makeup kit or for someone starting with makeup.

Worth it? Yes!! The palette is just so incredible. The shadows are not as chalky as some of their shadows, they are so pigmented even without a primer or base, the palette is sturdy and small enough to travel with.

Milani's Rose Blush in Coral Cove!! |Swatch&Mini Review|

Hey Warriors. Today, I am bringing you a mini review and a swatch of the beautiful and most talked about Milani's Rose Blush. When I went on my no buy I decided to participate in Milani's facebook giveaway to win a Rose Blush and one of their new matte lipsticks! I was so lucky enough to win cause I didn't think I would have a chance to grab any after my 100 days of no buy. Anyways, I have been wearing it for a week and I can say it is one of my favorite blushes, not only does it look like a rose but the color is just gorgeous and great for everyday or you can lather it and make it vibrant for spring and summer. The blush is huge compared to the pictures, it's as big as my hand and I feel the product will last me a long time. Blushes are a must have for me because I feel complete having some blush on and I try to always make it look more natural. Milani is an overall good drugstore brand and if you do see these I highly suggest you grab one before they are gone.

Milani Rose Blush in Coral Cove!

I didn't get to choose my color but the one I got was the coral cove which I didn't mind because I loved how it was a "rose" and honestly after I swatched it and used it for the first time I fell in love. I believe they have like 5 more shades but this one stole my heart. The color is flawless on my skin. This blush blends easily and doesn't look harsh at all. As you can see in the picture with the swatch, the color is just so pretty against my fair skin but also it looks a little more natural. This is just one swipe and a little blended in. I feel this product has way less fall out than any drugstore blush I own which is great. The blush lasts about 4 hours in the day so I suggest using a face primer to make it last longer. The picture does not justify the perfection of this blush. I am hooked :D.

Worth it? Yes!! This blush is AMAZING. Not only is the design captivating but the color range is just gorgeous. They blend so well, look so nice and you don't need much. The price is good for the size of the blush and the packaging is so nice that I would feel comfortable carrying it with me. I highly suggest these if you are a blush freak like me.

I'm Going On A "No Makeup Buy" For 100 Days!! + Planner Obsession?

Hey Warriors. This is going to be a very different blog post. I have already shared this on most of my social media websites but I decided I am going to go on a no buy for makeup for about 100 days. Why? Well because I felt the need to give myself a break from trying to buy every new thing that comes in the drugstore or at least things I can afford. I was starting to feel I had collected to much and still have tons of things to review here on my blog or to swatch. I am sorry if that upsets you in any way but I am doing it as well to save money for more important things and focus on using what I have and see how much I can use up in 100 days. There is an exception though... My birthday is in March and some of my family may send me makeup or money which I decided the money will be going towards something else that I will get to in a minute. I am so excited to start planning my life and becoming more productive. Review On BH Cosmetics Makeupbymandy24 Palette!

Hey Warriors. I am so sorry for the lack of blog posts but between YouTube requests I am so booked. Anyways, I am here to do a review on the BH Cosmetics MakeupbyMandy24 Palette. I bought this palette over a month ago and have used it almost everyday. I do have a few cons about this product but I can honestly say it is one that I will be reaching for the most in 2015!! (: Before I get started I do wanna put my disclaimers that I am not trying to brag in any way shape or form and I am not being paid nor sponsored by either of them. This is 100% my honest opinion and my opinion may diff from yours, so please be kind.

                                    FRONT OF PALETTE

PROS- I honestly love the words. I like the whole idea of the way the palette is made. The palette it self is small, not bulky and has a cute pink heart on the front.

CONS- The palette gets very messy and I wish they could of put more creativeness into it. Although the heart is a touch but like with the itsjudytime they had a quote from her and made it look more attracting than the way this one is set up.

PROS- The shadows are absolutely stunning. This is a neutral lovers heaven right here. There is three shimmers and three mattes which I like that there is a variety! The colors are super pigmented, easy to blend and worth the money. I feel the product gives more pay off even without a primer who is insane. I just love it.

CONS- Inside gets messy as you can see in the photo. Also, this palette had tons of fall out which upset me a little.

                                   Part 2 Of Inside The Palette

In all honesty I wish this palette didn't get so dirty but with so much fall out it just smears. I love the shades and fallout normally doesn't bother me but when it makes my palette dirty it irritates my OCD lol. I will still use it and get great looks from it just wish the dirtiness would go away.

SWATCHES OF PALETTE

PROS- As you can see these are so pigmented without a primer but with a primer and base they just pop more and last a lot longer. These shadows also blend so smoothly and so evenly I feel like I can do an eye look in less than 5 minutes with this palette. 

CONS- All I have to say is there was a lot of fallout. I had to blow it off each time I took a swatch.

BONUS ITEM- BH COSMETICS LIQUID EYELINER.

So I was super excited to know that this palette came with a liquid eyeliner. I thought it was decent of them to add something that would make the neutral eye pop with a wing which is what Mandy would wear, ps if you don't watch her you should.\

PROS- This liquid eyeliner is by far one of my favorites now. It makes doing a wing eyeliner so much easier and faster. I would also recommend this for beginners who have trouble still. This tip would actually help get that perfect winged point.

Cons- Have to rub sort of hard to get off and smudges a little.

SWATCHES OF LIQUID EYELINER.

I decided to show you all three different sizes you can do if you like thicker lines or thinner lines this one does all three. (:

Worth it?  YES! In my opinion fall out does bug me but the colors are too gorgeous to pass up and you can create such gorgeous looks using these shadows weither its just a natural eye or a smokey fierce eye or a cute smudged eye look. It all depends if you're into these colors(: PLUS you get a bh liquid eyeliner with the palette what more would you want?!?
